GOLDEN Bachelor Gerry Turner could be finding a special present under the tree from his new fiancé – a prenup.
Those close to the show’s final rose recipient, Theresa Nist, have begged her to use protection.
During the Golden Bachelor finale, Gerry, 72, proposed to Theresa, 70, choosing to give his final rose to her instead of 64-year-old fitness instructor Leslie Fhima.
However, nearly immediately, Gerry’s thorns came out, as he was caught lying or contradicting certain aspects of his life.
Now, Theresa’s friends are warning the financial services professional to cover her assets.
“Theresa’s friends are stressing the importance of having a prenup,” a source told Life & Style. “He’s been caught lying, and people are telling Theresa to think twice.”

And it looks like Theresa may be having her own doubts and concerns as well.
“Now Gerry’s having to explain himself, and Theresa is questioning everything he’s ever said,” the source disclosed.
Fans online are in agreement on the prenup, as they expressed in the comments.
“I think she should. He’s clearly not someone that is totally honest,” one person reacted.

Another warned: “Be a smart lady and get a prenup or get out, once a liar always a liar.”
As a fourth slammed: “Gerry is gross. No prince charming. All decisions have consequences. Think long term and remove the rose-colored glasses.”
THEY DO?
Gerry and Theresa are set to be married on January 4, 2024, in a wedding that will be live-streamed on ABC.
The couple will honeymoon in Italy after the ceremony.
The wedding announcement comes after The Hollywood Reporter published an article exposing major “inconsistencies” between Gerry’s on-screen persona and his real-life self.
There’s a long list of contradictions, including it’s supposedly inaccurate that Gerry hasn’t dated in 45 years — despite what he told Entertainment Tonight.
Details about how the Golden Bachelor star pursued a woman one month after the death of his wife Toni, along with rumors that he used the same pickup lines on the women on the show as he did for women in real life surfaced in the exposé.
SHAME SHAME
Before finding love again, Gerry dated a woman for three years – just one month after the sudden passing of his beloved wife, Toni.
The former girlfriend, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed to The Hollywood Reporter last week that Gerry shamed her for gaining 10 pounds, forced her to split the bill when out to eat and more accusations.
The ex-girlfriend, who THR referred to as Carolyn, claimed when she moved into his lake house on Big Long Lake in Hudson, Indiana after 10 months of dating, he told her she would need to contribute $1,000 a month for expenses.
Carolyn negotiated the amount down to $850 but agreed to his request to split the bill on all meals whenever they weren’t dining out on a special occasion.
Carolyn allegedly paid her half in advance so Gerry would seem “like the big man” at restaurants.
She claimed Gerry insisted she make the bed in the morning before coming down for breakfast.
KICKED OUT
While packing for Gerry’s high school reunion in October 2019, she claimed he told her: “I’m not taking you to the reunion looking like that.”
She claimed he pointed at her body, as she had gained 10 pounds from stress.
Gerry allegedly told her to be out of the home by January 1, 2020.
While packing alone, she allegedly fell down the stairs and had foot surgery the following day.
She claimed Gerry accused her of using the fall to prolong her stay.
He then refused to allow her to live in his home for the remaining two weeks of their agreement, the woman has claimed.
