Ginger, 42, took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to defend her keen fashion sense.

The commotion started when the GMA star updated viewers on snow and ice alerts.
During Friday’s broadcast, ABC News’ chief meteorologist wore a pink dress with a beige belt.
A troll claimed the ABC star was not wearing a belt and was supposedly showing off her bare, flat tummy,
The commentator ranted: “Why are you showing your stomach on TV? Come on. Show some class. Be a role model.
“Wear clothing appropriately for the show. For God’s sake, it’s January.”
Ginger clapped back, “Not my skin…take a closer look.”
THE COMMENTS
Fans mocked the troll and praised the weatherwoman as “the classiest lady on TV.”
One fan said: “Ginger, Ginger, Ginger. What a way to start your morning. Being patient with a superficial, judgy guy.

Another fan added: “Ginger is the classiest lady on TV.
“It’s a belt, and you can even see her gear attached to the belt in the back.”
A third fan mentioned, “I don’t see an apology from the troll.”

‘I’M PROUD’
Also on Friday, the TV star posed in the same outfit with two members of her weather crew.
In the Instagram post, she jokingly wrote: “12 years of this weather team at your service.
“And we haven’t killed each other yet. I mean, we have gotten close, but I’m proud.”
‘WHAT ARE YOU WEARING?’
This is not the only time the meteorologist has defended her wardrobe from critics.
In February 2023, Ginger dressed up for Valentine’s Day.
In a behind-the-scenes photo, she wore a bright yellow turtle-neck shirt, a black and yellow checkered mini-skirt, and matching stockings.
The meteorologist smiled along with producer Sam Wnek and weather producer Max Golembo.
Ginger predicted the weather in her post: “My morning Valentine’s @samwnek @maxgolembo and the spring-like heat for the rest of the week – hundreds of records (highs and lows) could fall- wow.”
She also added the hashtags: “#Valentine #Work #Love #Spring #Heat #Records.”
Although many of her followers wished her a Happy Valentine’s Day and complimented her outfit, there was one critic who mocked her style.
The critic commented: “What are you wearing? I used to love your style. What happened?”
Ginger threw shade back and said: “I am wearing a rented skirt and top I’ve had for a while/- I love this outfit. Thanks for your opinion.”
