GOOD Morning America star LARA Spencer’s daughter Kate has decided to join a sorority during her time in college.
Kate, 19, is attending Vanderbilt University, and she was recently accepted into the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority on campus.
The chapter recently had their bid day – a celebration where they welcome all their new members into the group.
The theme of the event was Kappa is the Perfect Fit featuring a denim patchwork banner.
All of the women were dressed in a pair of blue jeans with their matching bid day shirts.
The shirts were either white or light blue and said: “Perfect fit Kappa Kappa Gamma Bid Day ’24.”
They also featured a stuffed brown teddy bear with a heart on its chest wearing a cowboy hat.
Lara’s daughter appeared in two of the photos posted to the chapter’s Instagram account.
The post was captioned: “Bid day, BEST DAY!!! So excited to welcome home our newest Kappas.”
In the first picture, she was lying in what appeared to be a small blue blow-up pool with several of her sorority sisters.

The second showed Kate standing with what appeared to be her pledge class – the group of women she’ll be initiated into the sorority with.
In both pictures, she looked extremely happy and proud to be a part of the group.
BIG BROTHER
Good Morning America’s Robin Roberts gave a surprise shout-out to Lara’s son Duff, 21, live on television.
Before cutting to a commercial in a December episode, Robin, 63, Lara, 54, and Michael Strahan, 52, teased viewers with an upcoming interview with Ted Lasso star Hannah Waddingham, 51.
Robin interrupted: “You know who’s here to watch her?”
Lara cracked a smile in mid-applause when her GMA co-anchor shouted: “Duff!”
The lights suddenly turned on her son, who was hiding in the shadows backstage.
Robin continued: “He’s here! And he’s all grown up!”
Duff blushed a little when Lara said: “Hi, honey! I’m in so much trouble!”
After Duff shook his head, his mom asked: “Are you ready for your close-up, honey?”
Duff sarcastically muttered: “Uh huh.”
Michael teased: “Uh huh. Too late now. Say we’ll be back.”
As the camera zoomed in, Duff picked up his mic and repeated: “We’ll be back.”
FAMILY DRAMA
Right before the holidays, Lara revealed some scary news about her family while sharing a pre-Christmas greeting on social media.
She posted a photo set with multiple images but then deleted it soon after.
The second upload went up with a few photos missing, which she acknowledged in her caption.
“Before we get to Christmas, I have to catch up and post some of the many special pictures from our Thanksgiving,” she wrote.
“We didn’t have everyone there – but having three out of her five kids made my mom really happy, not to mention lots of the grandkids and her two adorable great-grands!
“It’s been a scary couple of months for her, and all of us, and we were so thankful for the time together. (And yes, I have left out all photos not approved by a certain someone lol:).”
She had decided not to post any photos that the person she referenced apparently did not want to appear in.
Among the photos in her second post, there was one of Lara posing with family members in a denim top and a dark tartan skirt.
Another found her posing outside with her husband, pets, and children while wearing the same outfit.
