“My babies in the Bamboo Forest…” Ali, 58, captioned the photo.

The Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, known as the Sagano Bamboo Forest, is one of Japan’s most famous tourist destinations.

It’s a picturesque sight that attracts many visitors to the country.

Both Harper, 18, and Elliot, 21, were photographed standing among the trees, looking in different directions.

MORE ON GEORGE STEPHANOPOULOS

The image was taken during the Stephanopoulos’ family trip to Japan during the holidays.

They were joined by comedian Jerry Seinfeld, 69, his wife Jessica, 52, and their kids as they enjoyed the exhibits at the TeamLabs museum.

George, 62, appeared in several of the snaps Ali shared of the family’s time in Tokyo and beyond.

The trip occurred after both George and Ali were dealing with becoming new empty-nesters in their home.

Harper and Elliot had been away from their parents for some time by the time the trip occurred.

That gave Ali and George a fresh chance to spend time with their daughters again while they were home from college.

TIME FOR TOKYO

George’s whereabouts in Japan with Ali and the pair’s daughters were initially revealed on Thursday when Ali shared photos to Instagram.

He had been missing from his spot on GMA for some time, leading fans to question where he had been.

One snap showed the group admiring a ceiling full of flowers while sitting on a floor made of mirrors.

Another captured the family posing in front of another exhibit, and a third with Elliot.

Ali also shared an up-close snap of a hedgehog nestled in someone’s hand and a group shot of everyone eating sushi at a restaurant.

“Lost in translation….” the producer captioned the Instagram post, referencing the 2003 Golden Globe-winning film shot entirely in Japan.

‘DREAMS DO COME TRUE’

Days earlier, Ali gushed on social media over the Christmas gift she got from her husband.

She posted a photo of the cover of George’s new book, The Situation Room: The Inside Story of Presidents in Crisis, which will drop next year.

The actress has one of the first copies of the yet-to-be-released book.

“Christmas dreams do come true!” Ali wrote in her caption, along with the book’s May 2024 release date.

The couple have been having difficulty being empty nesters while Elliott and their younger daughter, Harper, 18, are away at college.

SHOW SHAKE-UP

Because of his trip to Japan, George has been missing from the GMA news desk and has yet to return.

Whit Johnson, 41, filled in for the TV star for multiple days, and viewers wondered when George would be back.

During Tuesday’s broadcast, all three of the main hosts were not at their usual posts and were replaced by Whit, DeMarco Morgan, 45, and Eva Pilgrim, 41.

George usually reports alongside Michael Strahan, 52, and Robins Roberts, 63, but they were nowhere to be found.

On Monday, George, Michael, and Robin revealed the day’s show was pre-taped so the hosts could enjoy Christmas with their families.

“Good morning, America, and merry Christmas to everyone at home and everyone here in our studio,” Michael kicked off the broadcast.

Robin then shared the major shake-up to the day’s program.

“We just wanna let you know that we’re on tape this morning so all of us can celebrate with our loved ones, too.”

“And we hope you’re having a great, great holiday,” she concluded.

All three hosts are expected to return to the studio after the New Year.
