General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) exit is rapidly approaching, so look for his last appearance before Chavez’s leave of absence to air January 31. That’s when things will take a tragic turn in Paris, so let’s talk about how things may play out.
For starters, Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) has successfully thrown the PCPD off the trail with her fake Toronto clues.
In reality, Esme is feeling more vengeful than ever and will soon make quite a splash in Paris – perhaps in more ways than one!
After Spencer takes Trina out for an expensive meal and treats her like his queen, they’ll hope to enjoy a river cruise.
The plan will be for Trina and Spencer to hop on a boat and take a romantic trip down the Seine.
Spencer and Trina will head to the boat dock, but they won’t realize Esme is stalking them for the final phase of her plot for vengeance.
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will think she knows Esme’s real intentions by then, but she’ll have a bad connection when she tries to warn Trina and Spencer over the phone.
GH spoilers say Spencer will make an alarming discovery, so that may involve coming face to face with Esme again.
Since this showdown will apparently happen near the water, it’s easy to make assumptions about where this story is going.
Esme will probably cause Spencer’s tumble into the Seine – maybe even after wounding him so that it makes it difficult for him to swim to safety.
As for Trina, she’ll be furious over Esme’s actions and will take matters into her own hands.
That could mean Trina will retaliate by shoving Esme into the water next – or maybe she’ll simply knock Esme out and subdue her until the cops can get there.
Either way, viewers are going to get a really satisfying moment where Trina shows off her fierce side and gets the upper hand on Esme.
As for Spencer, Trina will desperately hope he survives and returns to her against all odds like he did in Greenland.
Laura will also find herself hoping and praying for a miracle, but Spencer obviously needs an exit for his leave of absence.
That could mean that Spencer will be presumed deceased after it’s believed that he drowned.
Of course, Spencer will secretly survive since he’ll come back several months from now, so maybe someone will scoop him up and hide him elsewhere in the meantime.
Regardless, General Hospital spoilers say Trina will be devastated over Spencer’s outcome in Paris, so stay tuned for updates on any other news about his departure.
