General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, February 26 to March 8, reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have a special task for Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) to pull off.
While Sonny updates Spinelli on his plan during the week of February 26-March 1, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will get a formal introduction to John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) and immediately ice him out.
If John expects Carly to turn on Sonny in any way, he’ll be out of luck!
After receiving some encouragement from Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will try a new approach with Carly and will apparently make up with her for now.
There’ll be some handholding as Carly and Drew tackle their Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) issues, but Nina will have some problems of her own.
Nina will grow a bit wary of Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) connection with Sonny, but Ava may insist she’s simply being an ally when Sonny really needs one.
Later, Nina will come face to face with Sonny and perhaps confront him over the divorce papers.
Although Nina will defend some of her decisions and try to save her marriage, Sonny may stand his ground for the time being.
After Carly gives Sonny news on her tense encounter with John, it won’t be long until Sonny corners him for a confrontation.
John will also do a little more bickering with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but they’ll try to reach an understanding in the end.
As for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll connect the dots on something that could help with the investigation.
Sonny and Spinelli will later give Ava some details on a plot they’re putting in motion, which may tie in with the trap Sonny’s setting.
Elsewhere, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will get some help picking out the perfect wedding dress. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) and Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will all weigh in with their opinions, but Tracy and Lois will eventually get into a major argument.
After Blaze’s (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) mother pops up earlier than anticipated, Natalia Rogers-Ramirez (Eva LaRue) will get a shock in her daughter’s suite.
Once Natalia spots Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) in Blaze’s bed, it’ll lead to Blaze coming out as gay and defending her feelings for Kristina.
Natalia will be against the idea of Blaze and Kristina’s romance, but Blaze will take a strong stand against her mom.
As for Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), they’ll talk about what the future holds.
Liz and Finn might discuss marriage and whether that might be something they’d consider someday.
Next, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will do whatever she can to track down Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).
Joss was hoping Spinelli could trace some cell phone numbers for Sonny’s guards, so maybe there’ll be a location that she closes in on. Will Josslyn find Dex or have to keep searching?
Despite the awkward aftermath of Maxie and Spinelli’s kiss, they’ll end up growing closer. However, Spinelli won’t like the idea of there being any big secrets between them.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will also make an admission, so she may help Spinelli come clean about the phony apartment repairs and their efforts to give Maxie rent money.
Of course, Spinelli now wants to stay under Maxie’s roof to be with her romantically and keep building a family together, but Maxie will inevitably be hurt over the deception.
There should be some drama during the week of March 4-8 as a result, but Maxie will hopefully get over the secrecy soon.
Perhaps Maxie will come to realize Spinelli and Felicia were only trying to help her, so their lies came from a place of love.
Naturally, we also have to talk about Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) long-awaited return.
Jason’s first episode back will air on March 4, so GH fans won’t want to miss it! Will Jason appear during all the commotion of Sonny’s imminent trap?
