On Saturday, the ex-wife of the Godfather of Harlem actor was honored by friends and family at the Brickroom LA venue in Los Angeles, California, according to People.

Forest gave a moving speech dedicated to the late mother-of-four.

The Oscar winner shared memories of Halloween with his former partner.

He recalled “how cinnamon and all the smells were wild.”

The Hollywood star remembered how Keisha “was trying to write a book about the celebration of everyday glamour.”

“She was like, ‘This book is going to show how you could make every moment of your life a glamorous one, a special one, a special moment to be cherished and to be held.'”

He ended with: “And the celebration continues on. She was amazing. We all love her.”

A video montage – which featured photos and clips of the former model – played the Mariah Carey song, Don’t Forget About Us.

Neuropsychologist Joseph McClendon delivered a moving speech as well and said: “At least for today, I’d like to submit and suggest something else that Keisha didn’t leave something.

“She gave us a gift and the gift was her memories.”

He mentioned that “the memories that she gave us will become alive and that becomes her legacy that you go forward with as well.”

The exes shared two daughters, True and Sonnet Noel.

Keisha also had a daughter, Autumn, and Forest has a son, Ocean, both from previous relationships.

‘GOODBYE, MOMMY’

Back in December 2023, daughter True, 25, took to Instagram and announced her mother had died.

“Goodbye, Mommy. I love you 4ever and beyond,” she captioned the post.

“The most beautiful woman in the world…thank you for teaching me every single thing I know.”

“I’ll see you in my dreams and I’ll feel you in my heart,” True concluded.

In early January, TMZ obtained a copy of her death certificate

The certificate of death noted Keisha had reportedly lived with the alcoholic liver disease for “years.”

The certificate listed acute renal failure as another condition that might have contributed to her death.

True was also listed as the informant of her mother’s death.

The document mentioned Keisha was buried in a service in Los Angeles on December 20, 2023.

THEIR RELATIONSHIP HISTORY

Keisha was married to the former Twilight Zone host for 22 years.

Forest filed for divorce in December 2018 and cited irreconcilable differences, per People.

The former couple met on the set of the 1993 film Blown Away.

Keisha played Forest’s girlfriend in the thriller co-starring Tommy Lee Jones, 77, and Jeff Bridges, 74.

The former pair quickly turned the script into a real-life romance.

Forest proposed about a year after they starred as lovers in the film together.

In 1997, Keisha spoke to People about her relationship with Forest.

“He is very honest and sensitive and romantic,” she said.

“He swept me off my feet — not with material things, more like the way he displayed his emotions.”

The two married in 1996 in a romantic ceremony in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
