Photos captured the actor looking completely unrecognizable while filming Complete Unknown in New York City over the weekend.

In them, Edward, 54, rocked a brown suit and a noticeably different hairdo than his usual thick, luscious locks.
He had super short hair and appeared to be balding in the front, exposing more of his forehead than fans had ever seen.
The pics showed him walking down the steps of a courthouse, carrying and playing a banjo.
They surfaced on an online message board where fans shared their thoughts about the Academy Award nominee’s transformation.

Benedict Cumberbatch was initially cast to play the part but dropped out of the project.
Interstellar star Timothée Chalamet plays the lead, with supporting actors including Monica Barbaro, Elle Fanning, and Nick Offerman.
Filming began this month for the highly-anticipated movie after being delayed due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike.
The film does not yet have a release date.
