HIP-HOP legend Fatman Scoop was rushed to hospital on Friday night after collapsing on-stage mid-performance.
The rapper, real name Isaac Freeman, was at a concert in Connecticut when he passed out on stage
People then rushed over to administer CPR to Freeman and the music abruptly stopped, video obtained by TMZ showed.
Authorities were dispatched to the concert in Hamden, Connecticut, which is near Hartford and transported him to a nearby hospital.
Concertgoers captured video footage of first responders performing chest compressions on a performer behind the DJ booth.
Hamden’s mayor, Lauren Garrett confirmed that Freeman was transported to the hospital on social media.
“Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers,” she added.
