In very good news for Lowe’s shoppers, the home improvement retail chain is offering a new service that will give it a real edge over competitors. MyLowe’s Rewards members will have personalized access to the Lowe’s Digital Home Platform, a streamlined service to manage all the products in their homes. “With our new digital home platform, we’re now making it easier to manage and maintain your home’s maintenance needs starting with appliances,” Jen Wilson, Lowe’s senior vice president and chief marketing officer says in a press release. “Lowe’s is all about being a helpful partner and through the digital home platform, we can serve up the exact filter customers need for their refrigerator at the time it needs replaced.” Here’s what customers can expect from the new platform.

Lowe’s Digital Home Platform will make it easier for MyLowe’s Rewards members to stay on top of things like warranties, manuals, replacement parts, how-to-content, maintenance suggestions, and more at the click of a button. Home appliance help is just the first step, as the chain wants to expand the platform to provide support for other home maintenance issues.

If a MyLowe’s Rewards member has used their account to buy an appliance either in store or online in the last five years, the appliance will appear as part of their profile on the digital platform. Here are current features, according to Lowe’s:
- Product information: Easily store and access manuals, warranties and other related documents in one place.
- Product recommendations: Shop for compatible appliance replacements, parts and maintenance supplies.
- Maintenance reminders: Regularly maintain appliances with project and schedule suggestions.
- How-to guides and tutorials: Read articles and watch videos on common tasks, like how to clean an oven or replace a water filter.
