LADY GAGA’s return to the big screen in Joker: Folie A Deux may have failed to impress, but she is having the last laugh.
I can reveal the music icon is in advanced talks to perform at the Grammy Awards this Sunday.
Sources tell me show bosses are desperate to get Gaga and Bruno Mars to sign on the dotted line to belt out their mega-hit Die With A Smile.
Their collaboration is already up for two awards on the night including Song Of The Year, having been streamed a whopping 1.6billion times on Spotify since it came out in August.
If successful, it will be the first time Gaga has performed on the Grammy stage in three years.
And it would be the perfect prelude to her seventh studio album, which is expected to be formally announced this afternoon.
A source said: “Grammys night is going to be massive, and everyone is hoping it can truly kick-start a huge year for Gaga.
“She and her team are deep in talks to get her to perform at the ceremony for the first time in years.
“She’s up for two awards so hopefully she won’t go home empty handed.
“Her seventh album is set to be announced this week so it would be the perfect way to kick-start the year.”
Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, has long been associated with the hit ceremony — famously arriving on the red carpet in a huge plastic egg ahead of the 2011 ceremony.
She later “hatched” on stage to belt out her hit single Born This Way.
The Bad Romance singer made her Grammys debut in 2010 when she performed alongside Sir Elton John.
She also performed at the event in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022 — and has won 13 gongs.
The superstar released the lead single, Disease, from her upcoming seventh album last November, which was her first solo UK Top Ten hit in four years.
And if Grammy bosses do manage to clinch a performance from her, she will be in good company.
Brits Charli XCX and Raye, as well as Shakira, Chappell Roan, Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Teddy Swims and Sabrina Carpenter will also be taking to the stage.
Charli is up for eight gongs including Album of the Year for Brat and Record of the Year for single 360, while Raye is nominated for three awards including Best New Artist.
The show will take place at the Crypto.com Arena in downtown Los Angeles.
After a tough few weeks for the city, this sounds like the ultimate celebration.
…AND HE’S X-RATED
IF you were expecting Bruno Mars’ next single to be a soppy, romantic tune, you will be shocked to hear what he’s just released.
The US star dropped a track on Friday called Fat, Juicy & Wet with US rapper Sexxy Red, and the lyrics were enough to make me blush.
In fact, it’s so X-rated there isn’t a single line I feel I can reproduce here in a family newspaper, as all he seems to want to sing about is women’s genitalia.
Thankfully, there are more wholesome releases to get your ears around this week.
Fresh from his Brit Award nomination, DJO – who you might know better as Joe Keery from Stranger Things – has dropped his song Basic Being Basic from album The Crux, which will be out on April 4 and followed by a UK tour in June.
Other new tunes include Sports Car by Tate McRae, Tears On My Piano by Joel Corry and All Over You by Mabel.
The week in Bizness
WEDNESDAY: Renee Zellweger will attend the UK premiere of the fourth film in the Bridget Jones series, Mad About The Boy, alongside her co-stars Chiwetel Ejiofor and Leo Woodall.
THURSDAY: Stevie Wonder, Green Day, No Doubt, Pink and Billie Eilish are among the huge names performing at the FireAid benefit concert in Los Angeles, which is also being live-streamed.
FRIDAY: The Weeknd will finally release his first album in three years, Hurry Up Tomorrow, after previously delaying it by a fortnight because of the California wildfires.
SUNDAY: The 67th Grammy Awards take place in the States, with Beyonce set to win big again as she leads with 11 nominations.
ZOE BALL will be relishing her lie-in tomorrow as Scott Mills takes over her Radio 2 breakfast show – and she is already celebrating with some retail therapy.
She was spotted out yesterday in a green jumper with a coffee following her departure from her show last month.
Zoe hasn’t been heard on the airwaves since, but promised at the time that she wasn’t bidding farewell to the station entirely.
Her next gigs are yet to be revealed, but I can’t blame her for wanting a bit of a rest after six years of early starts.

IF you’re a fan of Noughties music, check out the Right Back At Ya! podcast, which is gaining quite a celebrity following.
It has been flying up the music podcast charts in the past week and even J-Lo is a fan, following on Instagram.
Recent deep dives by hosts Joel and David include episodes on Cheryl Tweedy, Victoria Beckham and Heidi Montag.
S CLUB HIT GETS PUNK MAKEOVER
PUNK ROCK FACTORY are making pop hard and heavy, by covering S Club 7’s No1 Bring It All Back.
The Welsh group, who are heading out on tour next month, dropped their version of the tune as they prepare to release new album All Hands On Deck on Valentine’s Day.
And it has won the approval of S Club star JO O’Meara.
She said: “It’s always an honour when one of our songs is worthy of a cover version.
“It’s so interesting to hear it done this way.
“I am defo gonna be rocking out to this one.”
FLETCHERS ALL A-BUZZ OVER SON
HE is a hugely successful pop chart-topper while she is a hit podcaster, author and I’m A Celebrity winner.
And now the eldest son of Tom and Giovanna Fletcher is following in their showbiz footsteps by becoming a West End star aged just ten.
Buzz made his stage debut in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s production of Starlight Express in London at the weekend after landing a regular role in the hit show.
Proud mum Giovanna wrote on Instagram: “We’ve been keeping this quiet for a while but tonight was race night and our brilliant Buzz had his debut as Control in the incredible Starlight Express.
“I can’t even begin to describe the overwhelming pride (and nerves!) watching him run out on to that stage to deliver those opening lines and then give the most amazing performance.
“It was total magic and a memory for us all that will never be forgotten.”
McFly star Tom also gushed about his son on social media and it sounds like there will be more acting and singing roles to come.
Buzz has also landed a role in BBC kids’ show Andy And The Band, which is due to hit screens later this year.
UNDERCOVER JASON MAKES HIS MERC
IT has been a decade since pop star Jason Orange quit Take That and turned his back on the showbiz spotlight.
But the elusive star has now surfaced in Hampstead, North London, where he was spotted doing some shopping last week.
My exclusive photos show the former singer picking up beauty products from a Planet Organic shop in a large hoodie, cardigan, shades and mittens, as he tried in vain to fly under the radar.
While he looked unassuming in the wacky outfit, his flashy vintage Mercedes would have definitely caught the attention of passers-by.
Jason is said to be worth £36million, so I can’t blame him for wanting to live the quiet life and enjoy his hard-earned cash.
By the looks of it, his life of leisure is treating him very well indeed.
RADIO 2 gets a shake-up today with Scott Mills moving to the breakfast show and Trevor Nelson taking over his weekday 2-4pm slot.
But no one was more surprised about music- lover Trevor’s move to a daytime show than the veteran DJ himself.
Recalling the moment he was offered the job by a BBC boss, he told Bizarre: “I was shocked.
“I mean, deep down, I knew at one point I might be asked to do something like that.”
Trevor, who also fronts the new BBC Sounds series Eras: Bob Marley, said: “Our conversation was hilarious. Before I even answered, she was saying, ‘I know what you’re like . . .
“But I slept on it and knew I wanted to do it.
“It’s like getting your England cap at this stage in my career. “
SHE looked all partied out as she left an A-list shindig in Paris last week – so it’s perhaps no surprise Kate Moss had to pop into a chemist before waving goodbye to Paris Fashion Week.
Kate was reportedly the last guest to leave the Dior event hosted in the French capital last week.
Yesterday, the model wrapped up warm as she left the glamorous Ritz Hotel, before being spotted taking a short walk to the local shop, carrying a bag away with her.
It comes as Kate joins the likes of Ronnie Wood and Simon Cowell in trying her hand at being a painter.
The A-list stars have put brush to canvas to paint hearts to help raise money for charity Chain of Hope.
