Christian McCaffrey made a name for himself at the early age of 20 as a projected first-round pick in the NFL.
He played college football in California for the Stanford Cardinals before the Carolina Panthers drafted him as the eighth overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL draft.
McCaffrey signed a $64million contract with the Panthers in April 2020 that included a $21.5million signing bonus – making him the highest-paid running back in the NFL at the time.
Christian is the son of former Stanford and NFL wide receiver, Ed McCaffrey, and former Stanford soccer star, Lisa McCaffrey.

On October 21, The Panthers announced they were trading the star running back to the San Francisco 49ers for a large draft pick package.
“Christian’s focus and commitment to the game are rare,” Panthers owner David Tepper said.
“He is humble, takes nothing for granted, works extremely hard and has earned everything he has accomplished. I’m grateful for his contributions to the Panthers and wish him the best as he moves forward with his career.”
As per reports, trading McCaffrey opens up numerous options for the Panthers: “having more picks gives them more chances to take players, trade, move around, or add more help.
“Moving McCaffrey and adding a reported three additional picks in next spring’s draft and another in 2024 gives them possibilities they didn’t necessarily have earlier this week.”
When did Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo get engaged?
After dating for four years, Christian and Olivia got engaged on April 2, 2023, in Utah.
The couple made a post on Instagram on April 7, 2023, with a photo of the San Francisco 49ers running back down on one knee while Culpo her hands to her face.
