Flatbush Zombies member Erick the Architect has unleased his highly-anticipated debut solo album, I’ve Never Been Here Before. Stream it via Apple Music or Spotify below.
The 16-track LP delves into deeply personal themes of Black resilience and fearlessness, soundtracked by intertwining sounds of hip-hop, soul, dub, and psych. Linden Jay, T-Minus, and James Blake served as producers, with Joey Bada$$, Westside Boogie, George Clinton, Channel Tres, and Kimbra contributing features.
In advance of the release, Erick the Architect dropped a string of singles, including “Ezekiel’s Wheel” with George Clinton, the Joey Bada$$-assisted “Shook Up,” “Ambrosia” featuring Channel Tres, and “Parkour,” the latter of which was produced by James Blake.
I’ve Never Been Here Before follows his 2021 EP, Future Proof.
