Enter Shikari Collab With Fever 333’s Jason Butler For Frenetic New Single ‘Losing My Grip’

With just weeks to go until their biggest ever UK headline tour, Enter Shikari have linked-up with Fever 333 frontman Jason Butler for exhilarating new single ‘Losing My Grip’.

The collaborative new track marks Enter Shikari’s first new music of 2024, following the mammoth year they had last year, which of course included the release of their first-ever UK Number 1 album, ‘A Kiss For The Whole World’.

And after closing 2023 with a run of shows in Europe and Australia, Rou Reynolds and co. will be heading out across the UK at the beginning of next month, kicking-off at Leeds’ First Direct Arena and concluding at OVO Arena Wembley.

Throughout the forthcoming tour, £1 from every ticket sale will be donated to the Music Venue Trust in support of grassroots venues.

And as well as being longtime supporters of such a cause, Enter Shikari also have a strong collaborative streak, with this latest track following the likes of singles with AViVA, Cody Frost and You Me At Six in the last twelve months or so alone.

Talking about the new single and how the collab came about, Rou has shared:

“We’ve known [Fever 333 lead singer] Jason for years now and have toured much of the world together. I think we always thought that it’d be great to collaborate on something when the right opportunity surfaced.

“This track certainly felt right. It required a thoughtful intensity, which Jason provides effortlessly in whatever he sets his mind to.

“We can’t wait to take Fever 333 out on our UK and Europe tour, it’s been too long since we shared a stage together.

Jason Butler, meanwhile, has been spoken highly of the inevitable link-up himself, adding:

“I’ve always been a fan of Enter Shikari. Yes, them as a band, but moreover, them as people. Yes, what they do, but even more so how they do it.

“They are an entity in their own lane and I’m honoured to have had an opportunity to swerve in it for a second and very excited to be rockin’ with them on this upcoming tour. WE ARE GODS.”
