Ekin-Su Culculoglu is a reality TV icon. She first came into prominence in 2022 on the eighth series of Love Island. Culculoglu won the series with then partner, Davide Sanclimenti. The couple then shot a travel series. Culculoglu competed in Dancing On Ice last year, and competed on The Traitors and Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year. A few weeks ago, Culculoglu took a trip to the South of France, and shared highlights on Instagram. How does she stay so fit? Culculoglu shared some of her wellness secrets in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she doesn’t train to look good, and isn’t concerned with her appearance. “I feel like you need to really understand that [the point of training] is not about looking like a very good-looking woman who’s got a very small waist, big boobs, big bum… It’s not about looking like what’s [in] fashion.”
Culculoglu tells Women’s Health that she is a big believer in following her dreams. “They always say, ‘There’s a new ‘Love Island’, there’s this, there’s that, you’ll be forgotten.’ But that doesn’t bother me because of who I am. I know what I’m going to do in life. And I know my dream. Acting in films; playing roles and quirky characters; something that would make you think, ‘Oh, Ekin is not this,’ but then I smash it…[March] that’s when I start looking for an acting agency, putting myself out [there], you know, try to distance myself as much as I can from the Love Island scene and, yeah, be my own person.”
Culculoglu is very confident in herself. She talked about this with Women’s Health. “I think I’m always the same. Confidence-wise, if something p***es me off, unfortunately – even in this society, where sometimes it’s good to be quiet – I will say it…I was the same on Love Island. If I didn’t agree with something, I would have my opinion. And I’m still like that. The only thing that has changed is I probably don’t let things bother me as much.”
Culculoglu talked about her diet in an interview with Women’s Health. She says that she believes in moderation. “I think you are what you eat, and you are what you put in your mind,” she said. “I want to feed myself with protein. I want to feed myself with green leafy vegetables and drink plenty of water. When you eat well, you feel well…but I also want to have my chocolate.”
Culculoglu likes to cook. She shared one of her favorite breakfast meals with Women’s Health. “I mean, I like cooking. So [I’ll cook the eggs] probably with butter, and a bit of milk. I won’t make them in the microwave – I use a pan every time. I’ll maybe add some salt. Maybe chives. And then smoked salmon. And some brown bread on the side to keep me going.”
