TV host Drew Carey has lent a helping hand to Donna Kelce in a head-scratching moment on The Price is Right.
The matriarch of the Kelce clan was the special guest on a primetime episode of the long-running CBS game show on Wednesday, February 7.
The “Ultimate Super Bowl Party” episode featured Donna, 71, while her superstar sons Travis, 34, and Jason, 36, beamed in via video.
Mama Kelce took the spotlight, dishing out prizes and taking a whirl at the iconic wheel.
But the mood took a turn when a clip hit Instagram, showing Donna’s controversial spin during the Showcase Showdown.
In the bid-off for top-notch prizes, Donna’s initial spin landed on a measly “10.”

Host Drew Carey suggested a do-over, aiming for that elusive one-dollar total.
The second spin took her to a “40,” but Drew couldn’t resist the temptation and gave the wheel a nudge to a “75,” netting Donna a total of “85.”
“Little home cooking from the refs, never hurt anybody,” Drew cracked, while Donna celebrated. “Very funny,” she shot back.
The Price Is Right captioned the clip: “Showcase Showdown (aka the big wheel) @donnakelce is a natural at the wheel (shoutout to Drew for the assist) đ.”

‘THAT WOULD BE CHEATING!’
Fans weren’t feeling the assist, crying foul play and calling out the potential rigging in the comments.
One fan wrote: “Hehe gotta help Momma! Love Drew!”
Another fan commented: “Drew we saw you do that.”
A third wrote: “That would be cheating!”
A fourth accused: “Ya, help from the Refs never hurt lol ask Travis.”
A fifth simply called the moment: “Rigged.”
‘COME ON DOWN!’
The rest of the episode was more sweet in nature, as Donna first appeared to introduce the bidding prize of “The Ultimate Fan Experience.”
The winner got free hotels, flights, rides and tickets to every game of their favorite team next season. Â
Travis and Jason gave “Mama Kelce” a big intro via video message.
“We wanted to welcome a very special woman to The Price is Right,” Travis started off the video, just days before his Super Bowl game.
“That’s right, from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, the first lady of football, America’s mom, and also our mom, and more importantly, the woman whose dinner rolls belong in the Showcase Showdown …” Jason said.
“Donna Kelce! Come on down!” Travis concluded.
“Come on Down!” has been the signature phrase for the show for several decades.
Donna then stood by for much of the episode while contestants attempted to estimate the value of different prizes to win them.
CBS will broadcast Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday with the Kansas City Chiefs playing the San Francisco 49ers. Donna’s youngest son, Travis, plays for Kansas City.
MAMA KELCE RUSHES THE SPOTLIGHT
Donna is now a household name for being the mother of Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason.Â
The retired banking executive grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, with her younger brother, Don, her father, and her stepmother Mary.
Back in the day, Donna was a successful track and field athlete.
While her father did not support women playing sports, she went on to win the Junior Olympics competition.
Donna was previously married to Travis and Jason’s father, Ed Kelce, for almost 25 years.
The pair split after Travis and Jason graduated from the University of Cincinnati. However, as Donna discussed on her sons’ podcast, the proud parents are on good terms.
Donna is often seen supporting her boys in the stands, many times with Travis’ flame Taylor Swift.
She’s had no trouble with the spotlight, which has been even brighter given her son’s high-profile romance.
Mama Kelce made a splash by gifting Swift a No. 87 jersey ring which she wore at the AFC Championship Game last weekend.
Taylor and Travis’ brewing romance was first made public in September when she cheered him on in a game against the Chicago Bears, sitting alongside Donna.
Not only did the previous Super Bowl LVII make history by featuring two Black quarterbacks, but it was also the first time that siblings faced off against each other.
Meanwhile, come Sunday, Kelce will be cheered on in Las Vegas by girlfriend Taylor.
The pop sensation is dashing from Tokyo where she has a concert the night before the Super Bowl.
As for The Price is Right, comedian Carey became host in 2007 when Bob Barker retired.
Barker died on the morning of Saturday, August 26, 2023, in his Los Angeles home – at the time it was said to be due to natural causes. He was 99 at the time.
