Polish-Mexican actress Dominika Paleta is soaking up the summer sun in Oaxaca, Mexico. Paleta, 50, shared pictures of herself looking blissful in a green bikini, enjoying beautiful views of the beach and ocean waves. “The best discovery of this year… to disconnect for a few days and immerse ourselves in this paradise… #mexicoteamo 🏝️ #casonasforza 💘 #Oaxaca,” she captioned the post. Paleta enjoys organic, locally grown whole foods. “I believe you are what you eat, so I only look for products that are hormone-free and pesticide-free,” she says. I eat a lot of fiber, for example, brown rice or sprouted bread. I include vegetables three or four times a day. I eat all kinds of fruits and I buy organic ingredients in specialized stores or in little markets.”

Paleta works out with a personal trainer to stay in shape and feel her best self. “I do cardio and weights,” she says. “My trainer, Leticia Román, gives me routines five times a week with leagues, light weights and I use my body as resistance.”

Paleta goes to a farmer’s market to get her fruit and vegetables, and says there is too much obsession with “perfect” looking produce in the supermarket. She also makes a point to keep ultra-processed foods out of the home. “If there is junk food in your pantry, you and your family are going to end up eating it,” she says. “If you get used to going to the market and making a small garden with your herbs, that will be reflected in your health.”

Paleta eats a mostly pescatarian diet with no red meat. “I eat protein like fish and hemp,” she says. “By not eating meat, I get B12 protein from legumes (peas, lentils, chickpeas, broad beans, beans, etc.) And the fat comes from foods like avocados. I take chlorella, an algae that has amino acids.”

Paleta says green tea—specifically matcha green tea—is a staple in her daily diet. “Matcha is a very fine, high-quality green tea powder made from the entire leaves of tea bushes grown in the shade,” says Penn Medicine. “Since it is the only form of tea in which the leaves are ingested, matcha contains even more antioxidants than regular green tea.”
