Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Joey Johnson (Tanner Stine) will race to dying Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) bedside. The Johnson brothers will return to Salem, so let’s talk about what’s coming up.
DOOL fans know Kayla doesn’t want to cause a fuss, so she’s instructed Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) to downplay her illness.
However, Stephanie isn’t sure how much longer she can keep Joey and Tripp in Seattle.
Joey has already been calling Stephanie nonstop to ask for updates.
As Kayla gets sicker, Stephanie may decide it’s time to alert Joey and Tripp to how serious the situation really is.
On October 14, Days spoilers say Joey and Tripp will come back to Salem under sad circumstances.
Kayla is Joey’s mother and Tripp’s stepmother, so they’ll both be concerned over her rapidly declining health.
There’ll be a family reunion by Kayla’s hospital bedside as Tripp, Joey, Stephanie and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) all come together.
Thanks to the toxin Orpheus (George DelHoyo) exposed all his hostages to, Kayla will definitely be in bad shape.
Kayla, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will all fear death is near, so that’ll bring some emotional moments with their loved ones.
It’ll seem like Orpheus is going to get his fatal wish, especially once Kayla flatlines and pays a visit to heaven!
Fortunately, miracles happen all the time in Salem, so Kayla won’t stay dead and gone.
It won’t be long until Kayla rejoins the land of the living, but she’ll give Steve, Stephanie, Joey and Tripp quite a scare.
Of course, it’ll be great to see Lucas Adams back in the role of Tripp Johnson.
Tanner Stine played a Joey Johnson recast on the second chapter of DOOL’s Beyond Salem series, but this will mark his debut on the main Days show.
The Johnson family will rally around Kayla during a major crisis, so be sure to catch Joey and Tripp back in Salem starting October 14.
