Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) recently agreed to move in with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), who should probably meet her mom somewhere down the line. That’s especially true if Rafe and Jada end up tying the knot one day!
Jada has fallen hard for Rafe – and based on some behind-the-scenes hints, it looks like their romance is going to last.
Even if Rafe and Jada have some obstacles ahead, their future appears to be bright.
It’s reasonable to think marriage might be on the horizon at some point, so that could easily bring the mother of the bride to town.
In an interview with Soaps.com, Elia Cantu admitted she wanted to see Jada’s mom come to Salem.
In fact, Cantu has the perfect casting choice for the role if Days ever decides to let her mother shake things up.
It turns out Vivica A. Fox is who Cantu would pick if she could cast the part herself.
Elia Cantu has actually met Fox before and is clearly a big fan of hers.
During that meeting, Cantu made a prediction that she’d work with Fox someday – and plenty of fans would love to see it happen on Days.
Fox has worked on multiple soaps in the past, including when she played Carmen Silva on DOOL back in 1988.
We have no doubt that Days writers could come up with some great material for Fox to play if she ever rejoins the show playing Jada’s mother.
Perhaps Aketra Sevillian could reprise her role as Talia Hunter as well for a true family reunion.
It’d be fun to see Jada, Talia and their mom all interacting down the road – especially if wedding bells might be looming for Jada.
