Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that there have been many actors exiting in recent months, but there could be some returns on the horizon, too. On DOOL’s Instagram account, they posted a new story that could offer a hint about a big comeback.
Multiple cast members posed for a pic at The Hollywood Museum’s TV history exhibit recently, including Mike Manning (Charlie Dale).
Could this be a clue about Manning returning to Days either as Charlie or a new character?
The other actors in the photo were Tamara Braun (Ava Vitali), Paul Telfer (Xander Cook), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera), Carson Boatman (Johnny DiMera), Stacy Haiduk (Kristen DiMera), Tina Huang (Melinda Trask) and Raven Bowens (Chanel Dupree).
Of course, we should mention that Manning has also been featured on The Bay, so he also spent some time checking out the new exhibit with other cast members for that series while he was there.
Still, it could be significant that Manning posed for the Days photo with current cast members – and that pic was then shared on the official Instagram account.
That could indicate that Mike Manning has already been back filming, so he may have new scenes coming down the road.
It’s possible Manning will reprise his role as Charlie Dale in hallucinations or dreams, especially if Ava starts showing signs of mental illness again.
However, it’s also possible Charlie will be resurrected by Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) or through some other wild twist that the writers have cooked up.
A third option might involve Manning coming back as a new character entirely.
That’s becoming a more common occurrence on Days, so it’ll be interesting to see if Manning might be playing someone new for a change.
Regardless, this Instagram story makes it seem like some form of a return could be in the works for Manning. We’ll be sure to pass along updates as more news surfaces on Manning’s potential next DOOL stint.
