Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Camila Banus (ex-Gabi Hernandez DiMera) is tackling a new role in a thriller film called Final Heist. Since the movie is about to drop on Tubi, Banus posted the trailer on Instagram along with a message about her excitement over the project.
In the film, Banus plays a determined mother named Willa, who’s told by doctors that her daughter desperately needs a matching donor and that the girl’s father is her only chance at survival.
Willa realizes she has to get her husband’s tissue from a maximum-security prison, but that requires a little help from some old criminal friends.
The whole gang comes together to pull off one final heist and hopefully save the life of Willa’s daughter.
It definitely sounds like one of those movies that shows just how far a mom will go for the sake of her child!
If the trailer is any indication, Camila Banus is sure to deliver a powerful performance. Let’s look at what Banus had to say about Final Heist in her recent Instagram post.
“Super proud of this !! Had a great time playing Willa. I got into acting to play, play pretend. I got to play so much in this project, it was a dream come true for me,” Banus said.
The former Days actress also talked about her incredible Final Heist co-stars along with the amazing crew, so it’s clear that Banus had a blast bringing Willa to life.
As for when you can watch Final Heist, the Tubi original premieres on Friday, February 9, so be sure to tune in if you want to catch Banus in action.
After Banus decided to leave Days, Gabi was given an abrupt prison exit.
Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) was recently seen pining over a picture of Banus’ Gabi as he reflected on their wedding day.
However, Gabi will eventually have a different look since we know a recast is in the works.
