Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton) recently did a Cameo video for a fan who wanted some insider information. Dattilo certainly delivered when he offered up some behind-the-scenes details about what’s ahead on DOOL.
For starters, Dattilo gave some hints about Lucas’ next storyline, which will air in early 2024.
Days spoilers say Lucas will get out of prison, but Dattilo admitted he’ll get sent off canvas again in the end.
That’s something Dattilo is bummed about since he’d prefer to stick around!
However, Dattilo insisted he loves working at Days and is happy to at least keep coming back for these temporary return stints.
Dattilo also hinted about Lucas sharing scenes with Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), so he said it was kind of like working on a new show since his mind doesn’t quite associate them with Days yet.
Dattilo alluded to the pair’s previous roles on GH, but it sounds like he enjoyed doing something different in his latest story with Braun and Burton.
In the latter part of the video, Bryan Dattilo confirmed that a new Gabi Hernandez DiMera (last played by Camila Banus) is on the way.
CDL previously speculated about the role of Gabi being recast, so now Dattilo is locking that info in for us.
Dattilo didn’t reveal who would be taking over for Camila Banus, but we have a pretty good idea based on Cherie Jimenez’s Instagram follows.
Jimenez is following the majority of the DOOL cast by now, so it seems like a done deal that she’ll debut as the new Gabi down the road.
As for Bryan Dattilo, he’s hoping to come back for a lengthier stint next time around.
Although Dattilo is currently just on recurring, it’s clear that he’d like to sign a contract and keep Lucas around for far longer.
