The Foo Fighters played in England last week, performing in front of a sold-out crowd in Manchester. During that show, lead singer Dave Grohl took a moment to shade pop megastar Taylor Swift.
Grohl suggested that she doesn’t actually play live during concerts, an insinuation that’s sure to stir the Swifties up.
“I tell you, man,” he started. “You don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift. So, we like to call our tour, ‘The Errors Tour,’ We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few f—ing errors, as well.
“Just a couple… That’s because we actually play live. What?!”

It was at least the second time he referenced Swift throughout the show.

Dave Grohl has previously spoken about Taylor Swift’s live performance abilities, admitting she once “Saved his a–” in front of Paul McCartney.
The Foo Fighters lead singer spoke on one particular instance in an interview with James Corden.
He recalled that he was asked to play at a party, but the only instruments available were a piano and collection of left-handed guitars. That can cause issue for a right-handed musician without piano playing capabilities.
“Right at that moment, Taylor Swift stands up and says, ‘I’ll do a song.’ She saved my a–. She gets up and she starts playing this song, and it sounds familiar. I’m kind of a little bit out of it, and I’m looking at my wife like, ‘I know this song, what is this song?’
“She was playing the Foo Fighters’ song ‘Best of You.’”

Swift continues to make headlines given both her “Eras Tour” and relationship with NFL pass catcher Travis Kelce. In fact, the duo recently performed together while in London.
Grohl, meanwhile, is in the midst of an international summer tour that’s set to return to the US in July.
Many likely didn’t expect to hear that shade being thrown Swift’s way when initially purchasing their Foo Fighters tickets, but that’s exactly what they got!
We’ll see if Taylor Swift responds to the jab, or if she opts to avoid a new beef in the music world.
