Dani Behr is sweating to the tunes in her workout clothes. In a new social media post the star shows off her impressive move to Dua Lipa’s Dance the Night Away, wearing a pink sports bra and matching leggings. “Omg how cute are you!!!!” one of her followers commented on the Instagram video. “Dancing 💃 Queen ✨✨✨” added another. How does the 53-year-old manage to look half her age? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
Jonathan Shalit, Dani’s agent, told The Mirror that his client maintains her body by staying busy and swimming. “Dani’s great body is all thanks to being a busy mum, swimming in the sea every day and following a healthy Aussie lifestyle,” he said. Swimming is a good way to get regular aerobic physical activity, according to the CDC. Just two and a half hours per week of aerobic physical activity, such as swimming, bicycling, or running, can decrease the risk of chronic illnesses. In addition to the many physical benefits, there are multiple studies supporting the mental health benefits of swimming as well.
As for her diet, Dani sticks to lowfat food like smoothies and fresh fruit for breakfast, plenty of fish and vegetables, and absolutely no junk food, Shalit told the publication.
Shalit also told The Mirror that Danis enjoys water sports and that her whole family surfs. According to the Australian government’s Better Health, surfing provides many health benefits including cardiovascular fitness from paddling, shoulder and back strength, which also strengthens from the paddling, and leg and core strength. “Once you’re standing up on the board, strong legs and a strong core will keep you up,” they say.
Dani also does Lagree, a form of Pialtes. “Working off the excessive holiday food and booze,” she captioned a post, adding the hashtag #pilatesbody.
In her recent post, Dani reveals her go-to workout. “I always get asked what I do to keep things tight and high and my secret weapon for the last ten years is Dance Cardio! Love @manumoves class- always so fun, great music and a mighty sweat!! You don’t have to be in LA to participate – check out manumoves.com and sign up and start dancing at home!” she captioned the post.
