UFC President and CEO Dana White was just one of the many A-Listers in the audience last weekend for The Roast of Tom Brady but he was one of the fortunate few who got handed a mic to roast the greatest NFL player in history.
After the roast in Inglewood, California, Dana White hopped on a plane to NYC where het met with Turki Al-Sheikh who is the Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia. The meeting took place to facilitate bringing a huge UFC event and Power Slap to Saudi Arabia, according to Talk Sport.
While Dana White was in the city that never sleeps, he posted a video to his Instagram Stories of a FedEx driver treating people’s packages like playthings. On the clip (below), Dana White joked “FedEx. We’ll get your s— there, but we’ll f— it up… My boy don’t give a f—.”

Well, according to TMZ Sports, FedEx actually did care when the video went viral and the driver was reportedly fired for treating people’s packages like trash. Having lived in Manhattan for 10 years myself and living in suburbia for most of my life outside of the city, I can say that my packages arrive significantly less damaged (and stolen) as they did in the city but that’s entirely anecdotal of course.
FedEx released a statement to TMZ Sports about Dana White’s video and the driver being consequently fired, saying “The behavior depicted in the video is unacceptable and inconsistent with the professionalism FedEx demonstrates every day. We are committed to treating our customers’ packages with the utmost care, and this driver is no longer providing service for our company as a result of this behavior.”
Did he intend to get that driver fired when he posted the video? Who knows. Does it really matter? Absolutely not.
Nobody likes to see someone lose a job the person likely needed but damn, when the job is to safely deliver packages from Point A to Point B and there’s footage of you treating those packages filled with people’s possessions like trash then it’s time to find a new line of work. The job of a courier is to just be a good steward for other people’s items and this is the exact opposite of that.
Who knows how many items were damaged over the years by this driver… It could have been an isolated incident and that person could have been having the worst day of their lives but if it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and trashes packages like a duck then chances are it’s a duck.
