‘Sanguivore: Special Edition’ takes a fresh bite at the band’s vampiric rock opera LP, and features new tracks ‘Shadows Of The Night’ (a cover of Pat Benatar’s 1982 Grammy winner), ‘Love And Pain’, ‘Phantom Fantasia’ and an extended mix of ‘Cry To Heaven’.

The updated LP is completed by a new black-and-white version of the album’s striking cover art created by Gut Slaughter. The original version by Welder Wings landed CREEPER a nomination for Best Album Art at this year’s Heavy Music Awards, as well as Best Album.

When Creeper’s William Von Ghould spoke to Rock Sound about the original ‘Sanguivore’ LP for our ‘The Album Story’ feature, he said of its concept:

“We had this idea about doing a vampire record for a long time. It was always planned for the third one to be this way.

“After the second one swung into such a different direction, it made sense for the pendulum to swing back and go much darker in terms of aesthetic. But with the music, I wanted an overhaul.”

This week saw Creeper commence a 19-date North American tour as special guests to Black Veil Brides, which also features Dark Divine and Ghostkid.

They will resurface in theUKthis summer with main stage sets at Download and 2000trees before playing their own show in Portsmouth and then headlining the Burn It Down Festival.
