CHRISTINA Ricci has revealed she struggled financially after her divorce and sold designer bags and jewelry to make ends meet.
The actress split from her ex-husband, James Heerdegen, in 2020 after seven years of marriage.

On the latest episode of the Let’s Be Clear with Shannon Doherty podcast, Christina, 44, discussed the obstacles she faced following the breakup.
“I’ve gone through periods as an adult where we were really, really broke,” the Wednesday star admitted.
“You just have that thing of, ‘I don’t ever want to feel this way ever again.’ It’s like this visceral feeling. I don’t ever want to feel this helpless, because I think that’s what not having a lot of money makes you feel like. You feel very helpless.”
In a 2022 interview with the Sunday Times Style, Christina confessed that money was tight, causing her to sell some of her expensive handbags and jewelry collection.

She told the publication that “certain traumas in life go along with financial traumas, extended court situations, custody situations [and] fighting restraining orders.”
NASTY DIVORCE
In early 2021, Christina was granted a restraining order from James after she alleged he’d been physically abusing her since 2019.
The Casper star added: “There’s a ton of that pressure and it’s hard. You have to work to support your family but at the same time you working takes away time from your family.
“So yeah, it’s difficult but I’m in a really good place now. Again, I have a really supportive husband.”
Christina shares her 8-year-old son, Freddie, with her ex and a 15-month-old daughter, Cleo, with her husband, Mark Hampton.
The Hollywood star has kept her schedule jam-packed with a slew of movie and TV roles under her belt.
She currently stars in the Netflix series Wednesday, which is gearing up to release its second season.
Christina also stars in the Showtime series Yellowjackets, which released its second season earlier this week.
The Sleepy Hollow star has also made headlines over her appearance, as many fans claimed she looks much younger.
Last month, fans gushed over the mom of two’s youthful looks after she posted a video to her Instagram.

“Hi. I am in Philadelphia, and in just a few hours, I will be on QVC for the first time,” the fresh-faced star announced.
“I am going to be on there talking about my favorite Lancer skin care products by the genius Doctor Lancer himself.”
Christina went on: “I will be talking about the three-step method – polish, cleanse, and nourish – and about a brand new product that is launching tonight, called the Gravity-defying moisturizer, which I’ve been using, and it’s fantastic.”
“So, it’s going to be fun.”

However, fans were more focused on the Golden Globe winner’s seemingly age-defying looks after QVC posted a photo of Christina donning no makeup, her dark hair slicked back, and a cream-colored silk bathrobe.
The post promoted Christina’s new role as ambassador for Lancer products, replacing Candace Cameron Bure.
“Christina Ricci does not age. She is the perfect spokesperson for Lancer,” one fan wrote in the comments.
“What a babe right!!! She still looks 22 most of the time lol,” said another.
“Wow. She looks gorgeous,” a third added.
In November 2022, fans were again shocked by Christina’s appearance as she underwent quite the transformation for her role on Wednesday.
Christina plays Mrs. Thornhill, a botanical sciences teacher at Wednesday’s school, The Nevermore Academy, where she sports long-red hair, eyeglasses, and librarian-style clothing.
The Emmy award winner played the original Wednesday Addams in the 1991 film that Jenna Ortega, 21, now plays.
