CELEBRITY Jeopardy! finalist Katie Nolan has claimed that her fellow competitor, Wings actor Steven Weber, wasn’t exactly pleasant off-screen.
The sports personality, who triumphed in Tuesday’s Celebrity Jeopardy! semifinal, is now saying Weber was “being a jerk” during “commercial breaks.”
Katie, 42, beat actors Weber, 62, and Dulé Hill with $17,400, advancing to the weekly special’s finale.
Fans praised her as a “smoke show” who was “killing it” as she mounted a major comeback in the Triple Jeopardy! round.
However, she disclosed on the podcast Pablo Torre Finds Out on Friday that Weber was being rude off-camera, which went unnoticed by viewers.
According to Katie, Weber took jabs at her fiance, Dan Soder, during commercial breaks instead of addressing her directly.
‘STOP DOING THAT’
She recounted, “We had real heat in commercial breaks. I didn’t realize until afterward that most of his s**t-talking didn’t make air.
“Anytime I would say anything, he would go ‘You got real lucky with this one!’ to Dan [Katie’s fiance].”
“Like he wouldn’t address me, he would address Dan.
“It was like, I would say something to him, and he would turn to him – a guy – my ‘man’ – who wasn’t even on stage, and address him instead of me.

“I think after the fifth time he did that I went ‘stop doing that’ and he went ‘okay.’
Katie seemingly confronted Weber about this behavior on-screen when she threw some smack talk his way in Double Jeopardy!.
She justified it on the podcast, saying, “It really helped that he [Weber] was being a jerk because then I was like, ‘let’s go.’”
KATIE’S ‘OBITUARIES’ JOKE
Ken Jennings noted that Steven “ran” the New York Times Categories category.
Ken joked that it could be because the actor – who also played little Jack Torrence in 1978’s The Shining – is getting older.
Steven said: “Seriously, Ken, I read the New York Times obituaries.”
That’s when Katie hit back: “Looking for your friends?”
Gasps ensued, and Weber responded, referencing an acronym category from earlier: “I.H.Y… I hate you!”
Katie concluded on the podcast: “I know it’s stupid, I know it’s Celebrity Jeopardy! but I watch Jeopardy! all the time. Hunting Daily Doubles was so fun.”
The next Celebrity Jeopardy! semifinal, which features Rachel Dratch, Mo Rocca, and Heather McMahan, airs January 16 on ABC at 8 pm ET.
Katie will be joined by Abbott Elementary’s Lisa Ann Walter and the winner of next week’s semifinal in the grand finale on January 23.
