CALL Her Daddy podcast host Alex Cooper has married her fiance Matt Kaplan.
The couple, who got engaged in March 2023, tied the knot in Riviera Maya, Mexico, earlier this month.
Alex, 29, originally met the 40-year-old film producer during a Zoom call back in 2020.
She teased the news in her Instagram Story on Wednesday, telling followers, “Daddy Gang, I’ve been keeping a secret from you.”
“It’s the hardest secret I’ve ever had to keep. But today, it’s yours,” she added.
Speaking about her special day, the Call Her Daddy host told Vogue that the ceremony was “everything we wanted it to be.”
“It was emotional, heartfelt, and we tailored it to exactly how we always envisioned it,” she explained.
Matt said the two wanted it to feel relaxed and authentic, adding that the day felt “very naturally curated.”
When choosing the location, Alex said it was important to have an intimate ceremony somewhere that catered to their guests.
“We wanted to choose a destination that was private, romantic, and felt like a vacation for not only us but all of our guests,” she said.
“It was really important to us to keep the guest list small so we could be present with each other and the people who we love the most and who have helped us become who we are today.”
Alex’s brother Grant officiated the wedding, while their dogs, Bruce and Henry, served as the ring bearers – running down the aisle with the couple’s rings around their necks.
At the reception, Alex said the “vibes were immaculate” as everybody hit the dance floor.
“There were dance-offs, bottles being passed around, crowd surfing…and once again, I’m not a dancer, but there wasn’t a care in the world from anyone that night. Everyone was on cloud nine,” she told the outlet.
The podcast host said the night ended with almost every guest running into the ocean.
