Brittany Xavier is a model and family influencer. She shares a lot of gorgeous photos on Instagram. Xavier also isn’t afraid to show off her figure on Instagram. How does she stay so fit? Read on to see 5 ways Brittany Xavier stays in shape and the photos that prove they work.
Xavier and her husband like to meditate together, as you can see in this reel she posted. The Mayo Clinic shares that meditation has a lot of benefits. “Meditation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit your emotional well-being and your overall health. You also can use it to relax and cope with stress by focusing on something that calms you. Meditation can help you learn to stay centered and keep inner peace.”
In the previous reel, Xavier and her husband are seen using makeshift weights. The Mayo Clinic reports that weight and strength training have a lot of benefits. “Strength training can help you manage or lose weight, and it can increase your metabolism to help you burn more calories…Strength training can reduce the signs and symptoms of many chronic conditions, such as arthritis, back pain, obesity, heart disease, depression and diabetes.”
In her reel, Xavier and her husband are seen doing squats with the weights. Piedmont reports that squats have a lot of benefits. “Squats are a compound, multi-joint movement, which means they exercise several muscle groups. When you perform a squat, you work your calves, quads, hamstrings, glutes, core and part of your back. A squat has more overall benefits than, say, a bicep curl, which strengthens an isolated area.”
Xavier likes to spend time outside. One place she enjoys going is the beach. One thing she likes to do is go stand up paddling. ClinMed Journals states that this can be a great workout. “One reason for its growth and uptake is thought to be that it is accessible, relatively easy to learn and low impact on joints. It is thought to be a whole body workout with the trunk, gluteal and lower limb musculature all being involved despite the paddling motion predominately originating from the upper limb. Elite SUP paddlers are now known to have high levels of aerobic and anaerobic fitness, high levels of dynamic balance and high levels of trunk muscle endurance.”
As you could probably tell from the previous posts, and from looking at her Instagram, Xavier likes to go outside. UC Davis states that spending time outside can help with your mental state. “Regular access to green spaces has been linked to lower risks of depression and improved concentration and attention. Being outside allows us to be social and come together with family, friends, or even people you don’t know who are also looking for a great hiking trail, for example.”
