BRITNEY Spears has announced to her loyal fans on X, fka Twitter, that she has something up her sleeve in the new year.
It seems like Britney’s comeback will include more than just her memoir The Woman in Me.
The Grammy winner, 42, shared a special video message on the social media platform on Thursday.
Revealed in the seconds-long clip in black text was that “something new” was coming soon from Britney.
Fans who wanted to be the “first to know” were told to sign up for the singer-songwriter’s mailing list in more black text.
Britney made sure to include a link to the mailing list sign-up web page in her tweet.

The music used in the video was the pop star’s first hit song, Baby One More Time.
Britney’s tweet could be her teasing new music.
However, that is highly unlikely since she revealed that she would not be releasing a new album or returning to the music industry just last week.
The blonde bombshell posted a picture of a painting – Salome Bearing the Head of St. John the Baptist by Guido Reni – to her Instagram Feed.

After she made the shocking announcement, Britney revealed that she’s been writing songs for other people.
She said: “I’ve written over 20 songs for other people in the past two years!!!
“I’m a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way!!!”
She also made it clear that her memoir, The Woman in Me, was released with her permission.
