BONES UK have dropped their latest single and video for ‘Won’t Settle’, featuring Queens of the Stone Age bassist Mike Shuman (aka ‘Mikey Shoes’).
The new track marks the rock duo’s first release of the year, following their ‘Ride’ single in October, which tackled toxic masculinity head-on.
It’s also a track that pays homage to the band’s London roots, with the pair explaining:
“We banged our brains with Mike Shuman from QOTSA to birth ‘Won’t Settle. It’s classic rock and roll, and we wanted to take it back to our London roots.
“It’s about freedom; not settling, settling down, up or any way around.”

Consisting of vocalist and guitarist Rosie Bones and guitarist Carmen Vandenberg, BONES UK dropped their self-titled debut album in 2019, which earned them their first Grammy nomination in the process, for Best Rock Performance for their track ‘Pretty Waste’.
Their touring experiences have so far entailed runs with the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, Korn, Tom Morello, Grandson and more.
