One of the worst parts of being rich and famous has to be the presence of the paparazzi in their lives. Just ask Ben Affleck.
Earlier this week, we brought you the story of Affleck opening up to Kevin Hart about his marriage to Jennifer Lopez, in which he lamented the amount of attention that J. Lo’s fame comes with.
The 51-year-old actor and director even explained that he always looks so frustrated in paparazzi pictures with Lopez because he is frustrated… with the paparazzi.
“I don’t like a lot of attention,” Affleck said. “This is why people see me and they’re like, ‘Why is this dude always mad?’ Because someone had their camera sticking in my face, and I’m like, ‘OK, here we go.’”
Given the decades of evidence we have, unfortunately for Affleck, the paparazzi won’t be leaving him alone anytime soon, as evidenced by an altercation that Affleck had with him outside of Lopez’s home.
In a video published by TMZ earlier this week, Affleck is seen getting out of his car to yell at a group of photographers “You’re going to get me in an accident… Don’t do that. That’s dangerous. You don’t even know if that’s me… Stop, man. It’s dangerous what you guys are doing. Do you understand?”
“I can’t see. You’re going to get somebody hurt doing this shit. Jesus Christ, my daughter’s coming down here. If you flash your lights on her, you’re putting her in danger. Do you understand that?”
Affleck’s frustration with the paparazzi is certainly understandable: if you go to Getty Images and search his name, the first EIGHT pages of his newest photos of paparazzi shots taken while Affleck is trying to go about his life.
Other than his rumored divorce, Affleck is currently in production of a sequel to his 2016 action-thriller The Accountant.
