Bears In Trees Drop New Single ‘I Wanna Feel Calm’

Bears In Trees have shared the latest single from their forthcoming album ‘How to Build an Ocean: Instructions’.

Today’s new offering might be called ‘I Wanna Feel Calm’ but it’s an emphatic, upbeat earworm.

It’s the third single ahead of the band’s new album, which arrives April 26 via I Sure Hope It Does, following the release of album-announcer ‘Things That Look Like Mistakes’ and ‘Hot Chocolate’.

Speaking about the new track and how it serves as a warm reminder for people to lean on their support networks, vocalist Iain has shared:

“I wrote this when I felt burnt out from self-improvement.

“In the process of being ‘better’, I started to only see the parts of me that weren’t ‘good enough’.

“It became too much, and the guilt made me want to return to an earlier, more chaotic version of myself.

“As I reconnected with people I let go I started to let myself be. Getting out of my head and being around people I loved brought me out of that headspace.”

The new track comes ahead of the band’s co-headline tour with The Happy Fits, with support set to come from Lexie Carroll
