Ayo Edebiri will host the upcoming February 3rd episode of Saturday Night Live, featuring Jennifer Lopez as the musical guest.
The episode will mark The Bear breakout star’s SNL debut, while Lopez returns after debuting as a musical guest in 2000, pulling double duty as host and musical guest in 2001 and 2010, and hosting in 2019.
Edebiri’s hosting gig follows wins at this year’s Emmy Awards and Golden Globes for her portrayal of Sydney Adamu in The Bear. Last year, she also starred in the teen comedy film Bottoms and voiced roles in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.
Meanwhile, Lopez is promoting her upcoming album, This Is Me… Now, which is set for release on February 16th alongside a musical film of the same name that will premiere the same day on Prime Video.
This week’s episode of SNL will be hosted by a returning Dakota Johnson, with Justin Timberlake serving as musical guest.
