Arnold Schwarzenegger has never been someone who lacks confidence, so it should come as no surprise that Schwarzenegger believes he’d be able to win a Presidential election (if he was allowed to run, which he’s not ).

During an appearance on a recent episode of the Max series Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace, Schwarzenegger said he could “clearly” see how he would become President of the United States, with his strategy essentially being running as an inclusive, optimistic moderate.

“Schwarzenegger called becoming president a ‘no brainer. I see so clearly how I could win that election,’” Schwarzenegger said.

“‘I mean, it’s like me and California. And when that was, you know, running for governor. It was clear that people are looking for some new answer, not a right wing or left wing, but someone that can bring the nation together. There’s just so many things that need to be done. And can be done. And what makes it so wonderful is because it’s doable. It’s all doable, or at least it’s just people coming together and say yes, we can do it.’” [Uproxx via Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace]

The 75-year-old Hollywood legend has made tons of headlines in recent weeks as he’s been doing press for his pair of releases on Netflix: the action comedy series Fubar and the three-part docuseries about his life and career Arnold.

At this time, the only other project that Arnold is attached to is a voice role as “The President” in the upcoming animated film Kung Fury 2 alongside Michael Fassbender, Alexandra Shipp, Ralf Moeller, Jorma Taccone, and David Hasselhoff.

In September, the fourth film in the Expendables franchise is set to hit theaters, and while Arnold isn’t officially listed as a cast member, I certainly wouldn’t rule out him making a cameo appearance in the film alongside his old buddy Sylvester Stallone.
