ARIANA Grande’s boyfriend, Ethan Slater, has shocked fans with his voice in a new video.
In an Instagram Story, the Wicked notable announced his upcoming residency in the Big Apple.

During the brief clip, Ethan, 31, donned a loose gray sweatshirt and showed off his messy, red curls.
“Umm…,” the Broadway star said before abruptly pausing and awkwardly chuckling.
“Hey…I’m doing a week of shows at Cafe Carlyle next week,” he continued.
“And would love to see you there. I’m going to play some stuff.”
“New music mostly,” Ethan closed as he pulled at his collar nervously.
The Spongebob Squarepants musical star embedded a link to the “tickets for the shows” and added a GIF of an animated tuxedo.
The shows commence on May 28 and end on June 1st.
THE COMMENTS
In an online thread, critics pointed out the star’s nervousness in his shaky voice.
“His quirky act is so bizarre. Explain to me how [Ethan] became a star on Broadway. He better hope Ariana attends one of his shows,” one critic mocked.
“Cafe Carlyle is a small, intimate venue. It’s going to destroy him,” another critic trolled.
“[Ethan]’s going to need to have some stage patter ready for this. What is he going to talk about in between songs?” a third critic mentioned.

In one of the snaps, the Victorious alum cuddled with her boyfriend while posing with castmates Cynthia Erivo, 37, Michelle Yeoh, 61, and Jonathan Bailey, 36.

Ariana stood out as she made a kissy face and pouted her bright pink lips at the camera.
She stunned in a pink floral dress and pulled her long hair into a ponytail.
“Over the rainbow to be reunited with this magical family! @wickedmovie,” Jeff wrote.
“My heart!” Ariana gushed in the comments.
Ethan and Ariana dated shortly after she filed for divorce from her ex-husband Dalton Gomez, 28, in September 2023.
