Antonio Brown is taking shots at anyone and everyone on Twitter these days, with his latest target being Taylor Swift.
Commenting on a viral tweet that features a picture of Taylor Swift and the caption “What are the first five words of the National Anthem?”, Brown responded by saying “Body like a saltine cracker,” clearly taking aim at Swift’s looks.
Swift becoming a target of Brown’s ridicule comes at a time when she’s already been wrapped up in tons of NFL-related headlines due to her relationship with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The pair began dating in 2023, which led to Swift attending many of Kelce’s games, including the entirety of the Chiefs’ playoff run to their third Super Bowl title in five years.
Swift’s relationship with Kelce and the success of the Chiefs actually led to some conspiracy-theorizing NFL fans to claim that the league is “scripted.”
This certainly isn’t the first time that Brown has used the term “cracker” as a diss, as just last week we reported on him posting an AI-created image of Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy as a literal cracker.
Minutes after his Swift tweet, in fact, Brown shared another cracker-focused AI photo, this time of himself in a chef’s outfit making crackers.
Brown’s use of the #CTESPN hashtag has also become a common occurrence for the former NFL wide receiver as he perhaps attempts the reclaim the narrative that he’s suffering from the degenerative brain disease. He’s also made a specific Twitter account for the idea called “CTESPNNetwork.”
During his 11-year NFL career, Brown played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Oakland Raiders (although he never featured in a regular season game), New England Patriots, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Considered to be one of the best wide receivers of his generation, Brown’s career ultimately flamed out in the early 2020s following a string of controversial incidents and erratic behavior. His last appearance on an NFL field, in fact, saw him take off his jersey and run into the locker room during the middle of a game.
