Angel Reese has subtly bragged that she is far richer than the $2 million estimate reported about her net worth.
The WNBA star sparked conversation about her finances after making a controversial statement that her salary from the women’s league isn’t enough to cover her $8,000 monthly rent.
Since her rise to recognition, Angel Reese has bagged numerous endorsement deals, including partnerships with Hershey’s Reese’s Pieces, Reebok, Beats by Dre, and Good American.

The Basketballer Says The Estimate Of Her Net Worth Is ‘Way Off’
Speaking at ComplexCon in Las Vegas, Reese opened up about her finances when panelist Speedy Morman revealed multiple reports estimating her net worth at roughly $2 million.
During the conversation, Reese reacted in a way that showed she disagreed with the figure, prompting Morman to ask, “Is it inaccurate?”
The female basketball player then responded with a firm “yeah,” adding that the number was “way off” and that she was worth more.
After clarifying, she also explained how she has tried to use her wealth to improve the lives of her family and friends, though she refused to reveal her actual net worth.

“It’s not just a luxury for me,” the Chicago Sky player revealed, per People Magazine. “It’s a luxury for everybody around me. I’m able to soon retire my mom, I can pay off my mortgage, my family, everybody’s taken care of… One thing about me, I have a really good circle around me, and I think that’s really important.”

Angel Reese Said Her WNBA Salary Doesn’t Pay Her Bills
Last month, Reese made a controversial statement about her WNBA income during an Instagram live.
“I just hope y’all know, the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” Reese shared, per People. “I don’t even think it pays one of my bills, literally.”
The 22-year-old went on to share that she spends $8,000 a month on rent and, after calculating her expenses, jokingly admitted to “living beyond her means.”
Reese reportedly earned $73,439 in her rookie season, and with her monthly rent set at $8,000, she would need to pay $96,000.
Luckily, the WNBA star has quite a number of endorsements to fund her lifestyle. This includes deals with Hershey’s Reese’s Pieces, Reebok, Beats by Dre, and Good American. She is also expected to earn a six-figure salary from Unrivaled, the 3-on-3 women’s basketball league that begins in January.

Angel Reese Speaks On Dealing With Critics
Reese has had a record-breaking season since being drafted by the Chicago Sky. However, despite her achievements, she knows she will face criticism and has a perfect strategy to handle their criticism.
“Everybody’s always going to have an opinion — if you’re the greatest or the worst,” she said in an interview with People. “I am who I am, and I accept who I am. People are going to either love it or hate it,” she says. “I think that separates you from whoever else.”
The 22-year-old also firmly believes that self-confidence is the key to success and hopes to inspire all the girls who look up to her to feel the same way.
“I haven’t had the perfect journey, I haven’t had the perfect life,” she continued. “I want them to know that and understand that you can start anywhere and be where you want to be.” She adds, “I think that separates you from whoever else.”

The WNBA Star Gets Support From NBA Legend Shaquille O’Neal
As she continues to grow in her career, Reese has given a lot of credit to NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal for guiding her as she sees him as a “father figure” in her life.
According to the New York Post, the 22-year-old basketball star invited O’Neal to her Senior Day festivities, usually reserved for family members, back in January.
“He’s super inspiring to me,” she said of O’Neal. “He’s so genuine, he’s been there for me through tough times. He just gets it, and there’s not a more perfect person for me to be tight with.”
Reese added, “We had fun, and if I need anything, he would help me … and he would do that even if I never played basketball again. He doesn’t care about me as a player. He cares about me as a person.”
