Angel Reese has been closely linked Jalen Duren for about a month now. After all kinds of speculation and hints, the former appeared to soft launch the relationship with the latter on Instagram on Thursday.
If they are actually dating like it seems, that’s a lot of rebounds!
Reese, the No. 7 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft, is averaging 12.3 boards per game in her rookie season with the Chicago Sky. Duren, the No. 13 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, averaged 10.2 boards per game during his first two years with the Detroit Pistons.
But are they together?? Let’s look at everything we know thus far…
Chatter about their potential relationship started at the beginning of June. However, things really started to heat up last month during the Olympic break.
Duren and Reese shared photos/videos on their Instagram stories from what looked like the exact same location on the exact same day, July 30. The cabanas were the giveaway. Someone also had to take the photo of Reese, who was not holding a camera in the image she posted.
Reese addressed the rumors head-on not long thereafter, on August 5. Her smirk spoke louder than words.
It was mostly speculation at that point. The clues were there but nothing was confirmed.
Now, almost a month later, it is all-but official!
Reese is dating someone. She has a man and publicly declared as much on Wednesday afternoon.
And then it became clear who.
Former Sky guard Kysre Gondrezick, who was released from the team on June 28, posted a series of photos to Instagram on Wednesday night. She is dating Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown.
The last image in the album was of a cake with his face on it.
Reese commented on the album with yet another indicator of her fling with Duren.

That was the most obvious sign thus far, but maybe she was talking about Jordan shoes. We don’t know.
Except we (probably) do! Reese posted a video on Thursday that essentially confirmed what we already knew because of the sweatshirt.
