CELEBRATING SOMETHING NEW

Another screenshot from Mike’s feature on the show, which he posted to his Instagram feed, had him showing Jason some items from his collection at his famed store, Antique Archaeology.

The TV star gushed in his caption, writing, “Exciting for the premier of “On the Roam” on MAX this Thursday, January 18th.”

“Had a blast shooting this with my fellow Iowa brother Jason Momoa @prideofgypsies . Can’t wait to share!” he added.

Last week, Mike and Jason kicked off the show’s premiere by celebrating at a Nashville hot spot together.

The two spent time at Tootsies Orchid Lounge in Nashville, Tennessee, and were seen enjoying a drink while sitting at a table with friends.

Mike and Jason smiled next to each other for one photo, with the American Pickers star wearing a black jacket and the Aquaman actor rocking a hoodie and flat-brimmed hat.

Amid Mike’s newest feature, American Pickers has been battling some of its lowest ratings over the past few weeks.

SLOWLY COMING BACK

Mike stars in the History Channel series alongside Danielle Colby, his brother Robbie, and new full-time cast member Jon “Jersey Jon” Szalay.

The first half of Season 25 kicked off on December 27 with two episodes.

The first episode had just 723,000 viewers, while the second episode of the premiere dropped down to 676,000.

In comparison, last year’s Season 24 premiere kicked off strong with 943,000 fans watching on January 4, 2023.

Episode three’s Mike and Homer on January 3 improved with 880,000 viewers

The January 10 episode, Picking Against Time, brought in 809,000 viewers.

Despite a rocky start, things have been looking up for the series, as The U.S. Sun exclusively revealed the January 17 episode brought in 894,000 viewers – the highest of the season.

The Wednesday, January 24 episode brought in the highest ratings for Season 25 with 948,000 viewers.

The dip in premiere ratings came as fans have called for Robbie to be fired from the series after he replaced fan-favorite Frank Fritz as permanent host in 2021.

Frank, 60, last appeared on American Pickers in 2020 when he took a break from the show to undergo back surgery.

He had a falling out with Mike and did not return to the show, later suffering a stroke in July 2022.
