PODCAST superstar Alex Cooper has reportedly dropped TikToker Alix Earle from her media network as fans fear the two are on the outs.

Earle has been working with Cooper’s Unwell Network since August 2023, when she started her show Hot Mess.

However, the TikToker’s program was abruptly pulled from the network’s schedule, according to SiriusXM sources who spoke with Variety.

The source said that Unwell renounced all rights to Hot Mess, so Earle could keep the name as she plots her next moves.

Fears are mounting that Earle and Cooper are no longer friends after fans spotted clues that the Hot Mess host may have been unhappy.

In January, Earle skipped the Unwell Super Bowl party in New Orleans, even though she was in town for the game.

Last year, Earle also said in an episode of her podcast that she’s made “career mistakes,” but didn’t explain exactly what she was referencing.

Followers felt that Earle wasn’t as active on Unwell’s social accounts, and said they only saw her when there was new Hot Mess merch.

As Earle’s success grew and she continued to amass millions of followers on TikTok, some fans felt it was time for her to become more independent.

“I personally think it was dumb for Alix to be under Unwell. She was thriving and popular,” one fan wrote in a Reddit thread.

“I think she downplayed herself by joining Unwell and shouldn’t started her own thing. But I do understand the viewership that Alex must’ve brought.”

Earle was one of the first people to be signed by Cooper after the Call Her Daddy podcaster decided to expand her impressive media success.

She was brought on alongside social media darling Madeline Argy, who now models and hosts the show Pretty Lonesome.

Now, Unwell has nine total shows and is producing a hydrating beverage that’s sold at massive brands like Target.

RISE TO FAME

Cooper is the second highest paid podcaster in the world as she signed a $60 million deal with Spotify, a $125 million deal with SiriusXM, and started her own company with her husband, Matt Kaplan.

Kaplan and Cooper started the media company Trending, and Unwell is a brand under the umbrella.

Cooper is a successful businessman in his own right, founding his own film production company, which made Netflix programs XO, Kitty, and To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.

The couple plans to make content that’s targeted to Gen Z, and said that Trending is “committed to elevating today’s voices and crafting tomorrow’s stories for an independent, resourceful, and inclusive generation.”

Earle rose to social media fame for filming humorous get ready with me style videos as she prepared to go out with friends for the night.

Now, she has seven million followers on TikTok and posts videos of her travels and life with her boyfriend, NFL player Braxton Berrios.

Neither Earle nor Cooper have commented on the future of Hot Mess.

SiriusXM did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
