Aaron Rodgers’ new documentary series Enigma hit Netflix on Tuesday, December 17 and the project is chock full of insights into the controversial quarterback’s personality. At one moment in the documentary, for example, Rodgers essentially throws his high-profile ex-girlfriends under the bus.

At one stage in the documentary, the 41-year-old four-time NFL MVP is bemoaning all of the extra circulars that comes with being a multi-million-dollar professional athlete.

Rodgers specifically railed against the notion that “that’s what athletes sign up for” and called some of the things that professional athletes do outside of the game itself “f—— weird.”

“I always find it interesting when people say, in reference to the off-the-field attention, ‘Well, this is what you signed up for,’” Rodgers says.

“I say f— that, I never signed up for that. I signed up for football because I love the game and I got great at it because I’m hyper-competitive and super-motivated. But there’s this whole other part that comes with it that’s a lot of great stuff and a lot of f—ing weird stuff.”

Rodgers then seemed to place a bit of the blame for the attention he’s received over the years on the women he’s dated, such as former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick, actress Olivia Munn, and actress Shailene Woodley, whom he was briefly engaged to.

Rodgers has also been rumored to be dating Malory Edens, the daughter of the owner of the Milwaukee Bucks, in recent years. At one stage, he was even linked to a woman who called herself “Blu of Earth.”

“I didn’t do myself any favors with some of the girls I dated after that that were in the public eye,” Rodgers says.

Rodgers and the New York Jets are coming off a Week 15 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, their fourth of the season. Rodgers looked more like his old self in the win, as he completed 16 of 30 passes for 289 yards and three touchdowns in the 32-35 victory.

In what could be his final three games as a member of the New York Jets, Rodgers and Gang Green will face off against the Los Angeles Rams, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins. At this time, Rodgers’ status for the 2025 season is uncertain.
