6 Amazing Bodies From Fool Me Once

As fans of Harlan Coben know, Fool Me Once was a British thriller miniseries that aired on Netflix earlier this month. The hit show, often in the nation’s top 10 most watched, is about Maya Stern, a recent widow, who gets a nanny cam to watch over her daughter. However, she ends up seeing her late husband on the camera. Meanwhile, Maya’s niece and nephew investigate their mother’s death. How do the stars of this nail-biting thriller stay so fit? Read on to hear from Natalie Anderson, Michelle Keegan and more.

Natalie Anderson played Claire Walker on the show. She opened up about her diet secrets to Express. Anderson says that she loves making juices, and that her husband, James Shepherd, makes a lot of their meals. “I’ve made juices now and then, but never had them without eating. James does all the cooking, from scratch. Other than pizza on Saturdays, we don’t eat processed food.”

Michelle Keegan played Maya Stern on the show. She opened up about her approach to exercise with MailOnline. “I think it’s important to do everything in moderation,” she explained. If I really, really don’t want to go to the gym, I don’t go. I just don’t punish myself; it’s not my life to go the gym. If I can go to the gym I will, if I can’t, I can’t. If I can go four or five times a week, great. If I can only go twice, or once, at least I’ve been.”

Jade Anouka played Nicole Butler on the series. She revealed in an interview with The Financial Times that she finds happiness when she goes on walks. “There are woods that I love walking in — there’s a calmness.” Better Health states that walking has a lot of health benefits. “Walking for 30 minutes a day or more on most days of the week is a great way to improve or maintain your overall health. If you can’t manage 30 minutes a day, remember even short walks more frequently can be beneficial.”

Dino Fetscher, who played DC Marty McGreggor, shared his fitness routine to The Rakish Gent. “I lift weights at the gym and go to F45 and Barry’s bootcamp occasionally. I also practice yoga as often as I can. At the moment I’m really into handstands; I’ve been going to handstand school for a couple of months – you wouldn’t believe how good a work out it is. I’m aware it’s going to be a very long journey but I’m determined to nail it.

Adeel Ahkhtar played the character DS Sami Kierce. In an interview with The Financial Times, he talked about why he makes sure to be political. “Even if I want to step away from the idea of having a political slant on things, since I’ve got a bit more attention as an actor, people are asking a lot more questions, and I’m asking a lot more questions of myself. I think I’m inherently political just in being a brown person in the industry.”

Hattie Morahan played the character Caroline Burkett. In an interview with Last Minute Theater Tickets, she encouraged more funding for arts programs. “I just think they’re thinking very short-term and if we cut out the investment at this stage, it will have a really profound effect on communities, and on young people. The argument is about people being able to show that they make a profit. I know it has been made over and over again, but it has been shown that government subsidies do pay dividends. So I would hope to try and influence people to relook at the figures.
