“Forgettable” is a tricky word, mostly used as a fancy synonym for “not good.” The very act of description means you haven’t forgotten it, but you could find yourself with the ability to forget. Provided you mustered up all your forgetting power, you could wipe that mediocre sandwich, sunset or peep show entirely from your mind, but you know, you could go either way on it.
But sometimes, things are so incredibly nondescript that you actually can’t describe them. It’s like the Men in Black, ironically a deeply memorable film, showed up to blink them out of your mind with those memory-eraser thingies. So when Redditor Kelvin_Inman asked r/AskReddit, “What movie was so forgettable that you know you watched it but can’t recall anything about the events of the movie?” Reddit remembered the movies they couldn’t quite remember.
