Rammstein are one of the most dynamic live acts in the world, and the band is about to hit North American shores for a highly anticipated stadium tour. Here’s your chance to win tickets to any of the US shows on the itinerary.
The German industrial metal titans are known for putting on a massive, theatrical production, including the construction of a colossal stage. Concertgoers can expect to hear hits such as the iconic “Du Hast,” as well as cuts from the band’s 2022 album Zeit.
The journey kicks off later this month on August 21st in Montreal and concludes with a three-night stand in Mexico City from October 1st through October 4th (with tickets available via Ticketmaster). The itinerary includes seven US cities: Minneapolis, Minnesota; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Chicago, Illinois; East Rutherford, New Jersey; Foxborough, Massachusetts; San Antonio, Texas; and Los Angeles, California (two dates). Pianist duos Duo Jatekok and Duo Abélard will open each concert.
In a rare instance, Rammstein will be touring in support of two new studio albums: 2019’s self-titled effort and 2022’s Zeit. In fact, the upcoming tour was initially supposed to be in support of the 2019 LP, but the pandemic led to the tour’s postponement in 2020, leading to even more anticipation for the band’s first-ever stateside stadium tour.
The German band made the most of lockdown, however, hitting the studio and recording a brand new album during the unexpected downtime. Zeit has received widespread acclaim, with Heavy Consequence‘s review calling it a “cathartic reflection of these turbulent times.” Meanwhile, the track “Angst” notched Consequence‘s Song of the Week in late April. It’s set to drop as a single on August 26th once the tour kicks off.
