Who is YesJulz?

YesJulz is an American social media personality, talent manager, and entrepreneur.

She was born March 2, 1990, and her real name is Julieanna Marie Goddard.

YesJulz rose to fame in 2014 when she organised a party for LeBron James and she’s rubbed shoulders with A-listers ever since.

She’s been seen alongside celebrities at events such as the NBA All-Star Game and the Grammys.

YesJulz is also famous in her own right and has an army of 650,000 Instagram followers, 250,000 X followers and 12,000 Facebook followers.

When did YesJulz work with Kanye West?

Kanye West hired YesJulz to contribute and assist him with his new album Vultures 1.

She was tasked with documenting much of the rollout and connecting with Ye’s fanbase, including filming livestreams for fans.

On March 12, Kanye revealed on his Instagram story that his company has decided to part ways with the creator, writing “We have decided to no longer have YesJulz involved in the roll out of Vultures 1.

“All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized.”

Why is Kanye West suing YesJulz?

Kanye claims that he is suing YesJulz for breaking a non-disclosure agreement.

Reportedly, YesJulz suggested fans create an app dedicated to the Yeezy fanbase.

Kanye West’s daughter North talks album release date in rare interview- but fans spot clue record is already ‘delayed’

She allegedly went on to detail a virtual currency they would be credited with, that could be used to purchase things on the app.

But, none of this was pre-approved by the rapper himself.

After she was fired YesJulz is alleged to have received a letter from Milo Yiannopoulos, Yeezy’s chief of staff, saying that she was being let go and fined an eye-watering $7.7million.

The letter began: “Enclosed please find a letter and statement of account from your time with Yeezy.

“Fines incurred to date as a result of your NDA violations come to $7.7m.”

It continued: “While you were a contractor, I suspended enforcement of this debt. It now falls due.

“Hassan from the compliance team will reach out with information about payment.

“Please note that any further violations will accrue more fines.

“Because you are being terminated for cause, but also because you forgot to sign your contract, your termination is effective immediately.”

Kanye shared a copy of the lawsuit filed against the talent manager on his Instagram Stories.

It read: “Julianne Goddard has repeatedly, intentionally and grossly violated the terms of her Non-Disclosure Agreement with complainants including publicly disclosing corporate sales figures, social media strategies, text messages with Ye and management, release plans for Vultures album and product designs before release.”

After her sacking, YesJulz hit back on social media saying: “I never wanted work done for free. I wanted to help the fans present their work to Ye. So that he could hire them.

“Anyone who has ever been in contact with me for as little as 5 minutes knows the last thing I’d ever need to steal, Is an idea.”

She later posted: “F**k an NDA. Sue me.”

YesJulz has also posted screenshots on X, formerly known as Twitter, relating to her dismissal.

In one of these posts she shared an email she had received from Milo Yiannopoulos.

The Sun has reached out to YesJulz to comment.
