The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) recently announced the birth of her first child on Instagram. The Y&R star offered an adorable glimpse of her newborn son and shared a sweet message about her family addition.
Grimes brought Bridger Elias Foster into the world on December 13 and clearly couldn’t be happier about the news!
The same goes for Grimes’ fiancé, Brock Foster Powell, who also debuted Bridger on his own Instagram account.
These proud parents seem excited to kick off this new chapter with their little one.
Considering the timing of Bridger’s arrival, he was like an early Christmas gift. Grimes cracked a joke about that idea when she shared her birth announcement post.
“Dad and I never liked waiting for Christmas either…,” Grimes said.
After sharing the baby’s full name and birthdate, Grimes added that their “little family’s future is merry and bright.”
It didn’t take long for fans to start congratulating Camryn Grimes on her new bundle of joy. Grimes has been open about her desire to be a mom, so we couldn’t be more thrilled for her!
As for whether Grimes will take a maternity leave from Y&R, she addressed that topic back in October on X, the social media app formerly known as Twitter.
“No maternity leave here!” Grimes said in response to a curious fan.
When asked for clarification, Grimes revealed that she just decided against it since she’s not working much anyway.
That means fans presumably won’t really notice a change when it comes to Grimes’ airtime as Mariah Copeland.
It’s no secret that Mariah isn’t featured very often, but that’s more about the show’s lack of material and not a maternity leave issue.
Regardless, it’s nice to see that Camryn Grimes’ baby boy looks happy and healthy! We all wish Grimes’ family the best as they enjoy their newest member.
