The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate Christel Khalil (Lily Winters) recently revealed her pregnancy by showing off her baby bump on Instagram. There had already been some buzz about Khalil’s possible bun in the oven due to other Instagram content and the well-placed purses that Khalil is using in scenes on the show.
However, Khalil attended the Monte Carlo TV Festival Awards with her fiancé, Sam Restagno, and shared a montage reel that left no doubt about her impending bundle of joy.
Since Khalil’s bump was on full display in the video, even Brytni Sarpy (Elena Dawson) piped up in the comments about how “the bump’s bumpin’” and added some fun emojis.
Amelia Heinle (Victoria Newman), Bryton James (Devon Winters-Hamilton) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman) also attended the event, so there was plenty of Y&R star power going on.
“That’s a wrap on Monaco! Thank you @festivaltvmonte_carlo for a great trip! Loved being there with this A team. Lots of laughs, blisters on our feet, and ate enough croissants to supply a bakery. See you next time,” Khalil said in her caption.
Fans have been sending sweet messages to congratulate Christel Khalil, who also has a 13-year-old son named Michael Caden from a previous marriage.
Now Khalil is set to welcome a family addition, so we’ll be sure to pass along updates on any other baby-related news.
Of course, Lily had a hysterectomy during her ovarian cancer storyline, so including Khalil’s pregnancy would require a farfetched rewrite.
It’s doubtful the show would go there – and that’s why we’re already seeing Khalil hold large bags to cover her growing baby bump.
Khalil will need some time off for maternity leave eventually, so that’s something else to keep in mind.
Lily and Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) are taking things slow when it comes to their budding romance, but they may have to pump the brakes even further down the road.
It’d be easy to send Lily off for some extended business trip out of the country – or maybe there could be some crisis with one of the twins that requires her attention for an extended period of time.
Regardless, we wish Christel Khalil the best when it comes to the rest of her pregnancy and hope she has a safe, healthy delivery!
