MACKENZIE Edwards has shared a new quote about being a single mom after her ex’s early prison release.
The Teen Mom star shared an Instagram selfie with an uplifting quote that she further explained in her caption.

The new post comes as her ex Ryan Edwards, 36, has moved on with a new girlfriend, Amanda Connor, whom he met in rehab over the summer.
Ryan and Mackenzie, 27, share two children, son Jagger, five, and daughter Stella, four.
The 16 and Pregnant alum’s post first explained the mentality of feeling weak or frustrated about things that may seem unattainable.
The quote then read, “May you remember, that at times, our limitations are what separate us from the ordinary and and make our stories more worth listening to.”
“I hope you don’t settle with the thought that you can only do so little,” it concluded. “Simply because it is not true.”
Mackenzie added her own caption, first remembering how a teacher once told her that single moms couldn’t be successful while she was pregnant as a teen.
“17 year old me would be so proud of 28 year old me,” the MTV star added.
“If you can’t do it for you, do it for your babies. If you can’t do it for your babies, do it for the bigger picture.”

Mackenzie said that she now owes it to herself and her children to show up “mentally, physically, and emotionally.”
She finished by saying, “And I will keep showing up, everyday, working a little harder than the next to say thank you to the girl that didn’t give up 11 years ago.”
The reality star added a selfie of her smiling from inside the car, looking happy as she showed off her new shoulder-length hair.
RYAN’S RELEASE
The new post comes weeks after Ryan was ordered to be released from prison, weeks before his original release date.
Ryan has been in and out of prison for the last year due to drugs, harassment, and other charges.
The Ashley Reality Roundup was the first to report the sudden change of plans, noting that Ryan spent Christmas and his birthday with his new girlfriend.
Although Ryan has been spending much of his time with Amanda since being released, he did reunite with his and Mackenzie’s daughter, Stella, earlier this month to celebrate her fourth birthday.
SCARED FOR RYAN
Many have expressed concern about the TV star getting so close to Amanda, who he has already publically expressed his love for on social media.
Amanda, who once appeared on Jerry Springer, has been in and out of jail from around 2009 up until a few months ago for charges including drug possession and driving under the influence.
A source told The U.S. Sun, “Choosing to use your time on and the type of people you’re surrounding yourself with is not OK.
“This girl is dangerous.”
A different insider also exclusively told The U.S. Sun that Amanda is well known in Chattanooga for her bad reputation.
“Amanda is trouble. She has been in and out of the system since she was old enough to catch a charge,” they claimed.
“She is not a good influence on Ryan.”
The ex-Teen Mom OG star is awaiting his next hearing date, scheduled for April 23.
